Dr. Colleen Fairbanks is a psychologist, trainer, speaker, and consultant. She has extensive experience, both as a practitioner and instructor, in motivational interviewing and understanding the interplay between physical and emotional health issues. Dr. Fairbanks’ quick wit and ability to engage audiences make her training highly valuable and leave participants feeling energized and confident to implement their new knowledge and skills.

Dr. Fairbanks is a licensed clinical psychologist with a specialization in Health Psychology. She received her Ph.D. from a nationally-recognized scientist-practitioner Ph.D. program. As the Director of Behavioral Health for Interactive Health, the nation’s largest provider of employer-sponsored wellness programs, she was responsible for the expansion, development, and implementation of all emotional health programming. Prior to her work at Interactive Health, Dr. Fairbanks assisted in spearheading the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center’s patient-centered transformation initiatives.

Dr. Fairbanks has extensive experience and passion for training health care professionals in having efficient, impactful conversations as well as tending to their own wellbeing to avoid burnout. Dr. Fairbanks also specializes in working directly with individuals to achieve optimal whole health and wellness as it relates to chronic disease management, weight management, tobacco cessation, and finding overall health and happiness. Dr. Fairbanks' life passion is helping people personally and professionally get out of their own way, open up possibilities, and look back with no regrets.
