Brian S. Pinkston MD, MPH FAsMA, FAWM, DiMM, DiDDM

Brian is a co-founder of Kinetic Adventure Medical Education, Kinetic Medical Consultants, and Koa Sailing School. He is a retired USAF Flight Surgeon and previously served as an Associate Professor and Director of the Aerospace Medicine Center for the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. He also served as the Chief of the Aerospace Medical Education Division at the FAA's Civil Aerospace Medical Institute. He is a scuba instructor, a public safety diver, a technical diver, a sailing instructor, and holds a private pilot's license and a US Coast Guard Captain’s license. He holds a Diploma in Mountain Medicine and a Diploma in Diving and Marine Medicine from the Wilderness Medical Society.
