Berenice Perez MD

Berenice Perez, MD is the Co-Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland, California. Her primary interest is in improving the flow of patients through busy, urban emergency departments and in increasing access to care for the medically uninsured. Additionally, she is interested in the factors that contribute to the low number of Latino and Black physicians in Emergency Medicine training programs.
