Dr. Leder is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Medical School. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrine Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital after which he joined the staff, establishing his own clinical research group and directing the Endocrine Unit’s clinical practice. His research has focused on defining the relative roles of androgens and estrogens in human skeletal and non-skeletal physiology and developing novel combination and sequential therapeutic regimens for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis. He is a long-standing member of the Endocrine Society having served on the Program Committee, Hormone Foundation Committee, and as chair of the Special Programs Committee.
