Avichai Shimoni MD

Prof. Avichai Shimoni is a world-renowned expert in bone marrow transplantation, he serves as Director of Sheba’s Bone Marrow Transplantation Department. After completing his medical studies at the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School, he continued to a bone marrow fellowship at MD Anderson, one of the world’s cancer treatment centers. In addition to his clinical work, Prof. Shimoni is the Hematology Department Chairman at Tel Aviv University’s Sackler School of Medicine.
