Dr. Aryeh Fischer is Associate Professor of Medicine at National Jewish Health and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is Chief of the Division of Rheumatology at National Jewish Health. He is also Co-Director of the National Jewish Autoimmune Lung Center and Director of the University of Colorado Scleroderma Clinic. His specific area of clinical and research expertise is within connective tissue disease associated lung diseases, and interstitial lung disease and pulmonary hypertension in particular.
He has developed clinical expertise with patients referred nationally for evaluation of rheumatologic lung disease. Dr. Fischer has served as an invited lecturer on autoimmune and interstitial lung diseases and pulmonary hypertension at numerous national and international pulmonary and rheumatology conferences and has an extensive list of original research publications, review articles, and textbook chapters dealing with autoimmune and interstitial lung diseases.
