The target audience for this event for This conference is designed to provide clinicians and other health care providers with a practical approach to the diagnosis and management of ILD, an understanding of the importance of accurate and timely diagnosis, and a treatment approach that is broad and evidence-based. This CME conference has been approved with 7.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Objectives:
This course is designed to improve the ability of providers to:
• Adopt a practical approach to the diagnosis of ILD that includes the integration of clinical, radiographic, and pathologic information;
• Gain familiarity with new IPF medications including patient selection, managing side effects, and counseling patients about expectations;
• Learn how to approach the diagnosis and treatment of patients with a possible autoimmune cause of ILD;
• Develop a comprehensive management plan for patients with ILD that includes both pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic strategies.
