Arul (ron) M. Thomas MD

Arul Thomas, MD is a transplant hepatologist and gastroenterologist in the MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute. He has a special interest in non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), autoimmune disease, and hepatocellular carcinoma. He is involved in research efforts in these areas. He strives to help patients navigate complex diseases and reach successful outcomes. He is also an avid medical educator and enjoys teaching students, house staff and fellows. A native of the D.C. area, Dr. Thomas sees patients at MedStar Georgetown University, MedStar Washington Hospital Center and in Annapolis.
