Dr. Adam Mead is a Professor of Hematology at the University of Oxford. He trained in medicine at Oxford and trained in hematology at St Bartholomew's Hospital and University College London.
His 2007 Ph.D. focused on the biology of myeloid leukemias. His specialist interest is clinical and basic research into myeloid disorders, and he runs a research group at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine (WIMM) focused on myeloid diseases and normal blood stem cell biology.
