Thomas Jefferson University Office of Continuing Professional Development (OCPD) is jointly accredited to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. They are accredited to offer continuing education credit for the following professions: medicine, nursing, pharmacy, PAs, and dietetics.

Through their programs, they provide evidence-based research practices that empower interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve health and health equity of their patients and community.

To accomplish this mission, they build continuing educational programs based on adult learning principles and instructional methods that provide health professionals with information, skills, strategies, and tools they can use to improve their skills, patient care, and their service to the profession. Through content alignment, they support competency driven frameworks, to support their learners as faculty and healthcare teams in providing high value care to their patients and the diverse communities they serve.
