Description:
Designed to improve participant knowledge and practice across a broad spectrum of topics, this symposium features presentations from Jefferson Health and University leaders and physicians, as well as alumni physicians.
Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, healthcare team members will be able to:
- Evaluate recent advances in gastrointestinal treatments.
- Analyze cases in ethics and professionalism and their role in medical practice.
- Review novel treatments for common conditions, including IBD, CAD, and respiratory failure.
- Recognize the effects of global warming and climate change on healthcare.
- Evaluate approaches to work-life integration in medicine.
