Southern Academy of Periodontology (SAP)

Since their formation in 1920, the Southern Academy has played an integral part in the progression of their specialty. They are considered to be the premier regional periodontal society in the country, representing the ten states of the Southeast. Their leaders carry a strong voice within the American Academy of Periodontology, and Their society as a whole plays an important role in the continuing evolution of the practice of periodontics.
