The North Pacific Pediatric Society began in 1919 and is one of the oldest international pediatric associations in America, antedating even the American Academy of Pediatrics. The NPPS membership is composed of northwest pediatricians and other medical professionals with a primary interest in the health of children.
As NPPS members, they feel very strongly about the health, safety, and welfare of all children. The NPPS, since 1919, has been on the forefront of advocating for children of all economic, ethnic, and social backgrounds. As a result, the bi-annual Scientific Medical Education Conferences of the North Pacific Pediatric Society are a first choice for all academicians, clinicians, and residents nationwide involved in pediatric care.
Goals:
• Promote a higher quality of pediatric medical care to children of all ages.
• Provide up to date, cutting-edge continuing medical education for all the professionals that deliver pediatric health care.
• Provide a valuable forum for the sharing, discussing, and dissemination of the ideas, concepts, and concerns, of the pediatric health care provider.
• Provide an on-going, effective bridge between the local health care provider and the regional Medical Institutions and their Residency Training Programs.
