North Pacific Pediatric Society (NPPS) 193rd Meeting and Scientific Conference

North Pacific Pediatric Society 193rd Meeting and Scientific Conference is organized by North Pacific Pediatric Society (NPPS) and would be held during Sep 24 - 25, 2016 at Campbell’s Resort At Lake Chelan, Chelan, Washington, United States Of America. The target audience for this medical event basically for pediatricians, primary care pediatricians, family practice physicians, and other health professionals that care for infants, children, and adolescents.

Objectives :

• Review current recommendations for sports screening (primary prevention)
• Review strategies for secondary prevention sports screening (emergency action plans, CPR, AED)
• Develop an interest to acknowledge media issues and include assessments in clinical interactions
• Review the latest information and guidelines from the AAP on media issues, technology, and current guidelines from the AAP C9ouncil on Communications and Media
• Discuss the goals of the Global Polio Eradication
• Identify efficacy of substances and possible harmful effects of use
• Use concepts to support patients and families with food insecurities and/or hunger.
•Use concepts to provide appropriate education and guidance regarding ADHD medication issues on college campuses
• Explain concepts to provide appropriate anticipatory guidance to families and teen regarding the unique academic and social challenges of college life
• Identify those patients who should be referred for further evaluation of possible scoliosis
• Assess when it is appropriate to refer a patient to a pediatric dermatologist
• Describe differential diagnoses for common dermatological conditions among children.
