New York State Osteopathic Medical Society (NYSOMS)

NYSOMS (the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society) is the non-profit professional association representing Osteopathic Physicians (D.O.’s) across the state of New York.

Mission:
The mission of the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society (NYSOMS) is to foster both individual and public health though the art, science, philosophy and practice of osteopathic medicine.

Vision:
NYSOMS strives to fulfill its vision by advocating on behalf of all osteopathic physicians in New York State, disseminating information that is beneficial to osteopathic physicians students, and the public; providing continuing medical education programs for its members; striving to ensure that professional standards are maintained and patient-physician relationships are enhanced.
