New York State Osteopathic Medical Society (NYSOMS) Regional Osteopathic Convention is organized by New York State Osteopathic Medical Society (NYSOMS) and will be held from Apr 28 - May 01, 2022 at Hyatt Regency Long Island Hotel, Hauppauge, New York, United States of America. You can look forward to quality CME lectures, interactive exhibits, workshops, cocktail reception and raffle giveaways!

The Theme is Balancing Wellness, Inclusion, and Education.

Description:
Physicians as caregivers are constantly working to steady their professional and personal responsibilities, while continuing to grow and deal with challenges brought forth by the pandemic and an ever changing landscape. Topics will cover Primary Care, OMM/OMT, Critical Care/Trauma, Dermatology, Pediatrics, Burnout/Prevention, Harm Reduction, LGBTQ+ Medicine, Global Health, Quality & Safety, and more. A 2-hour NY State Infection Control & Barriers course and 2-hour OMM workshop will also be offered as additional programs.

As the conditions related to COVID-19 and the variants are ever changing, NYSOMS is monitoring the recommendations and restrictions from the CDC and NYSDOH. In the event that we have to limit the number of attendees or cancel the live event, we will convert the convention to a virtual setting. Please be prepared to abide by mask rules, health screenings, and/or other convention policies in order for us to keep the event safe for all.
