The Risky Business of Breast Cancer Screening is organized by Baptist Health South Florida and will be held from Mar 01, 2018 - Mar 01, 2020.
The target audience for this medical event is Obstetricians, Gynecologists, General Surgeons, General Practitioners, Family Physicians, Oncologists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Pharmacists and Labor and Delivery Nurses. Course Description :
There is currently no consensus among U.S. breast cancer screening guidelines. Learn more about a 21st century approach to breast cancer management using data to determine screening benefit and recurrence risk.
Learning Objectives :
• Describe the limitations of population-based screening.
• Recognize the impact of improved breast cancer risk assessment and awareness of the spectrum of biologic behavior of breast cancers on screening and the approach to risk reduction.
• Compare personalized screening to annual screening as described in an ongoing pragmatic trial.
