Conference Description:
The goal of this CME-certified course is to educate physicians on the use of RF therapy to improve women's intimate and sexual health. Conditions include laxity, urinary incontinence, GSM, sexual dysfunction, sexual satisfaction and changes due to childbirth and menopause. The agenda includes lectures and panel discussions which will focus on the patient demographics as well as how to start the conversation with your patient.
Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Describe the mechanism of action of RF for minimally-invasive vaginal devices, list the clinical applications for their use, and summarize the outcomes of RF-based vaginal therapies.
• Assess the need for incorporating the use of minimally invasive vaginal radiofrequency devices into their practices.
• Compare the use of the currently available radiofrequency devices for treatment of vaginal health issues.
• Understand the demographics of the patient population who may need treatment for vaginal health issues and should understand appropriate ways to initiate educational discussions about treatment options.
