Over - the - Counter Medication Abuse is organized by UK HealthCare CECentral and will be held during Apr 07, 2017 - Apr 06, 2020.

The target audience for this medical event is Physicians, Pharmacists, Health Administrators, and practitioners of addiction medicine. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Over-the-counter medications are widely available in residential homes and can be easily purchased in stores and online by adolescents. Families may consider these medications to be harmless but when consumed in mega-doses can pose serious health risks to youth. Primary care providers and mental health providers need to recognize signs and symptoms of over-the-counter medication abuse.
