OSLHA Learning Academy is organized by Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association (OSLHA).
All Sessions are Online Self Studies and Are Available Now Through June 30, 2021.
Who?
The 2021 OSLHA Learning Academy is hosted by OSLHA and sponsored by leading industry partners and academic institutions and will be attended by hundreds of Speech & Audiology professionals and students in Ohio and across the nation. Attendees represent the Healthcare, Telehealth, DD, K-12 Schools (public & private), Private Practice, Non-Profit & University Industries.
Accreditation:
OSLHA Learning Academy courses are each offered for 0.20 ASHA CEU.
OSLHA is approved by the American Academy of Audiology to offer Academy CEUs for this activity. The program is worth a maximum of 1.0 AAA CEUs. Academy approval of this continuing education activity is based on course content only and does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedure, or adherence of the event to the Academy’s Code of Ethics. Any views that are presented are those of the presenter/CE Provider and not necessarily of the American Academy of Audiology.
Description:
They invite guests of the Learning Academy to purchase any combination of individual sessions that appeals to them and they also offer a Certificate of Advanced Learning opportunity to those wanting to take a deeper dive into select subject areas.
Our Certificate of Advanced Learning activity requires successful completion of a series of sessions and our inaugural certificate program will be devoted to the topic of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). Our DEI certificate will include courses by guest presenters dedicated to providing insight and education on DEI terminology and cultural and societal considerations affecting service access and service delivery.
Completion of this program is intended to help you connect and communicate more effectively with your clients and colleagues.
The OSLHA Learning Academy is intended to be a platform for sharing new and emerging data, information, concepts, resources and tools for application in the speech and audiology work settings. Attempts have been made to provide a wide variety of research and clinically-based contents and individual discretion should be used by the viewer regarding responsible & ethical application of newly gained information from our Learning Academy presentations.
