What you'll learn
- Analyze the pathophysiology of seasonal and perennial allergic conjunctivitis and differentiate their respective clinical presentations.
- Evaluate the active pharmaceutical agents and mechanisms of action in FDA-approved topical over-the-counter treatments indicated for the symptomatic relief of seasonal and perennial allergic conjunctivitis.
- Apply knowledge of the typical onset and duration of action for different classes of pharmacological agents, as well as individual agents within those classes, to inform the management of seasonal and perennial allergic conjunctivitis.
