Did you know your patient’s poorly aligned teeth may be the underlying cause of harmful and unanticipated oral health consequences down the road?

Doctors participating in this course will learn more about the signs and effects malocclusions have on the overall oral health of their patients. In completing this course, they will be able to identify symptoms such as premature wear, teeth grinding, snoring, sleep apnea and TMJ that could be related to the patient’s malocclusion.

In this course, participants will gain valuable diagnostic skills that will help them recommend treatment solutions that may minimize or eliminate their patients’ risks for further damage and costly dental procedures in the future.

• Determine the difference between a destructive vs. a protective bite
• Identify the distinct types of misaligned teeth
• List common symptoms of malocclusions.
