Description:
Many healthcare providers equate dementia with Alzheimer's disease. Few understand or diagnose the full spectrum of causes for degenerative dementia. Ideally, a specific diagnosis can lead to improved care and future care planning as well as heighten surveillance for potential emergent comorbidities associated with specific forms of dementia.
