OVERVIEW

Neuroimaging of HIV Associated Neurocognitive Disorders is organized by American Neurological Association (ANA) and will be held during Dec 11, 2015 - Dec 11, 2018. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Description :

To understand the pathophysiology of HIV associated neurocognitive disorders (HAND). HIV enters the brain after initial infection, and with time can lead to HIV-associated neurocognitive disorders (HAND).

Learning Objectives :
After this session, participants will be better prepared to do the following in practice:

To evaluate advanced neuroimaging methods for assessing HAND
To evaluate the effects of HIV, co-morbidities, aging, and combination anti-retroviral therapy (cART) in the brain using advanced neuroimaging.
