Module 4 – Rational Sequencing: Building a Long-Term Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) Treatment Pathway is organized by i3 Health.
Dates Available:
August 27, 2026 - August 26, 2027
STATEMENT OF NEED:
Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) is typically a chronic, relapsing disease in which durable remissions are uncommon and patients may require multiple lines, combinations, or periods of treatment-free observation over time. Limited head-to-head evidence and the potential for cumulative toxicity make long-term treatment sequencing complex; therapy must be adapted to disease stage, prior treatment exposure, mechanism of action, response, comorbidities, lifestyle considerations, and patient preferences (Scarisbrick et al, 2021; Hristov et al, 2023). For patients with high-risk advanced disease, timely transplant evaluation and disease optimization before hematopoietic stem cell transplantation may be important, while clinical trial participation can provide access to emerging approaches in a setting where additional therapeutic options are needed (Damaj et al, 2025). Module 4 of this Clinical Insights Microlearning Series will explore principles of rational treatment sequencing, the use of skin-directed therapy alongside systemic treatment, strategies for addressing localized progression without unnecessary changes to an effective baseline regimen, and the role of bridging therapy, transplant referral, and clinical trials. It will feature insights from Larisa J. Geskin, MD, FAAD, Professor of Dermatology in Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and Steven M. Horwitz, MD, Member and Attending Physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

ONCC Recertification:
The program content has been reviewed by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) and is acceptable for recertification points.
ONCC review is only for designating content to be used for ILNA points and is not for NCPD accreditation. NCPD programs must be formally approved for contact hours by an acceptable accreditor/approver of nursing NCPD to be used for recertification by ONCC. If the NCPD provider fails to obtain formal approval to award contact hours by an acceptable accrediting/approval body, no information related to ONCC recertification or ILNA categories may be used in relation to the program.
OCN®, CPHON®, CBCN®, AOCNP®, AOCNS®, and BMTCN® renewal candidates may apply 0.5 ILNA points toward:
Please note that some of the course content applies to multiple content areas. The numerical value above indicates the maximum amount of points that can be claimed in each domain. The total amount of ILNA points claimed may not exceed the total amount of NCPD awarded from this course.
