Course Description & Objectives:
This lecture/discussion course is designed to familiarize doctors and other health care workers with common issues related to psychological disorders and with appropriate responses by non-mental health professionals when working with clients with possible psychological disorders. This course will focus on Pica, Rumination Disorder, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge-Eating Disorder and other specified and unspecified elimination disorders and the Elimination Disorders Enuresis and Encopresis.
