Movement difficulties associated with autism, DCD (developmental coordination disorder) and OHI (other health impairment) are well-documented and known to affect social interaction, gross motor participation and classroom performance. This 6- hour self-study course introduces more than 45 developmentally-safe, simple, and engaging five-step sequence and strategy options that OTs, PTs, and teachers can use for an individual or for an entire classroom to improve motor learning, coordination and opportunities for inclusion. The online format also allows you to start and stop as needed and includes, many demonstrations with all PowerPoint slides embedded on a split screen. A PowerPoint.pdf is also available as a download and includes hundreds of pictures to further introduce the strategies and sequences presented. Teachers, therapists, parents and children will enjoy the many movement challenges and craft ideas shared.
