Description:
This course will describe and analyze five can't miss EKGs, starting at the basic level, and include some high-risk patterns that the machine will miss. What is normal? This course will explore a deep dive into what a normal EKG should look like and why. Followed by several case studies that will provide learners with a better understanding of certain situations and scenarios when performing sports physicals that they can apply in their everyday practice.

Learning Objectives:
As a result of this activity, the learner will be able to:

  • Review high-risk conditions that affect athletes.
  • Review Brugada's Syndrome.
  • Discuss high yield interview questions during sports physicals.

NPACE designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.00 contact hours, of which 0.25 is pharmacology credit. Participants should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
