This presentation is designed for a primary audience of pediatricians, family practice physicians, psychiatrists, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, neurologists, medical geneticists and allied health practitioners. The secondary audience includes internists, nutritionists and associated allied health practitioners interested in underlying medical comorbidities associated with autism spectrum disorders.

Description
This activity provides expert insight about behavioral improvement that can be achieved when underlying gastrointestinal issues associated with autism are addressed. Health and behavior of children and adults with autism should be improved by virtue of educating about gastrointestinal etiologies associated with this complex disorder.
