Description:
This online activity will cover the treatment and management of patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

Objectives:
On completing the program, attendees should be able to:
• Review therapeutic targets in AML, including BCL-2, FLT3, IDH1, IDH2, CD33, and the apoptotic and hedgehog signaling pathways
Assess AML patients by risk categories based on cytogenetic and molecular information
• Describe current and novel therapeutic approaches for patients with previously untreated and relapsed/refractory AML
• Plan individualized treatment strategies of sequential and combination regimens for patients with AML by integrating new agents into the current treatment paradigm
• Discuss strategies that will improve communication, engagement, education, and decision making with AML patients and their healthcare providers
