Michael R. Grunwald MD, FACP

Dr. Michael R. Grunwald is the Chief of the Leukemia Division and Professor of Cancer Medicine at the Levine Cancer Institute of Atrium Health. He cares for patients with acute and chronic leukemias. He also cares for patients receiving cellular therapy, including blood and marrow transplants.

He is an active clinical investigator, leading trials for leukemia and transplant patients. He participates in studies with the Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research and is an Editorial Board member of Transplantation and Cellular Therapy.  He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society for Transplant and Cellular Therapy, and American Medical Association.
