Activity Overview:
Given the recent approvals of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR), and T-cell therapies for the treatment of lymphoid malignancies, educational programs that provide expert guidance regarding the most appropriate and efficacious incorporation of these agents into clinical management will help improve the treatment outcomes of patients. Managing toxicities in the community or in ‘real-world’ practice requires clinicians to adhere to evidence-based recommendations in this regard and also navigate challenges observed in clinical practice outside of a controlled trial.

This Community Practice Connection™ program provides an in-depth review of some of the key highlights from the Reflective Case-Based Oncology Collective™: Translating Recent Evidence on CAR T-Cell Therapy to the Real-World Management of Lymphoid Malignancies. This unique and engaging multi-media activity is ideal for the community-based clinician and focuses on the practical aspects of managing patients who are being considered for CAR T-cell therapy, putting recent clinical trial data into clinical context. The program is designed for those who did not attend the live meeting and to help reinforce learnings for those who did.
