Overview:
Many patients are overwhelmed by the numerous over-the-counter options available for contact lens care. This presentation will review basics of contact lens solutions for both soft and hard lenses. It is important to be knowledgeable about the products available in order to accurately counsel patients. We will explain some common complications associated with poor lens hygiene. We will also go over topical ophthalmic medications to treat these complications. Facts on patient compliance will be reviewed.
