Session description:
This session will provide a discussion of how participating in social media can help healthcare professionals including assistance with recruitment, connecting with collaborators, and practice building. It will also provide an overview of the most common social media platforms in use today, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. The pros and cons of each platform for health care professionals and best practices for a successful online presence will be reviewed.
