Description:
This panel of speakers examine four different aspects of patient oriented factors that will allow the practicing radiation oncologist to better recommend, direct, and evaluate the results of therapy for women with gynecologic cancers. The speakers examine the differences in access to care and the disparities that different populations face, the barriers that prevent access, and potential means to mitigate them. The panel describes the use of molecular and imaging factors that can determine the differential response to radiation therapy in women with cervical cancer, laying the ground for treatment intensification or de-intensification for future clinical investigations. Then it reports on the use of intra-treatment imaging with MRI-Linacs to better customize and adapt to individual changes in anatomy. Finally speakers describe the use of patient-reported outcomes in clinical trials, and how they may differ from physician reported ones.

• Describe the current disparities experienced by different populations, and the means to which we might mitigate them.
• Describe state of the art imaging and molecular determinants of response in women with cervical cancer.
• Describe the use and potential benefits of online MRI evaluation of treatment response with MRI-Linacs in gynecologic cancers.
