OVERVIEW

2020 National Nurse Practitioner Virtual Symposium is organized by the National Nurse Practitioner Symposium.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and for the health and well-being of participants, the symposium will now be held as a virtual symposium. There will be no symposium physically located at the Keystone Conference Center. The virtual symposium will offer a maximum of 30.75 CE/CME hours (19.75 maximum pharmacology hours), plus additional participant benefit of 10.0 enduring material CE/CME hours, through AANP, ACCME or ANCC. The virtual symposium will be held July 8-12, 2020, and then available following the live event, until October 1, to allow registered participants time to revisit the content and complete evaluations required to receive their CE/CME certificate.

This activity has been planned and executed in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of AKH Inc., Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare and National Nurse Practitioner Symposium.

Symposium Description:
This multi-day Symposium presents a forum for discussing common matters related to the care of all age groups in a variety of healthcare settings. This year’s Symposium will discuss current trends and issues confronting providers across the country.

The Objectives of the Symposium are to:
• Estimate self-reported knowledge obtained on selected clinical topics in primary and acute care
• Recognize contemporary strategies to client care management which affect your patient population
• Speculate upon ideas and experiences gained from other professionals involved in the delivery of patient care, healthcare policy, entrepreneurial ventures, research activities, and the future of healthcare
• Estimate possible changes to your current practice methods and barriers to achieving those changes
