Upon completion of the article by Zhong et al, the participant should be able to:
• State clinical factors associated with higher matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) levels in this study
• Discuss the relationship between MMP-9 levels and outcome after stroke shown in this study
• Discuss the effect of adding MMP-9 levels to a prognostic predictive model containing conventionally recognized risk factors demonstrated in this study
