Virtual Triage Cancer Conference is organized by Triage Cancer and will be held on May 15, 2021.

Timings: 7:30am - 3:30pm PT / 9:30am - 5:30pm CT / 10:30am - 6:30pm ET

Individuals diagnosed with cancer, caregivers, health care professionals, & advocates will learn about:
• Understanding health insurance, picking a health insurance plan, and appealing denials
• Accessing clinical trials
• How to work through treatment or take time off
• Applying for and appealing disability insurance
• Managing finances, medical bills, and financial help
• Estate planning and medical decision making
• Becoming an empowered patient and Advocate

Accreditation:
For Nurses:
Triage Cancer is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Nurses who meet the requirements will be awarded up to 6.5 contact hours.

410 minutes of instruction/60 minutes = 6.5 contact hours

For Social Workers:
Triage Cancer, #1689, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Triage Cancer maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 8/26/20 to 8/26/23. Social workers participating in this course will receive up to 6.5 continuing education credits.

Triage Cancer is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-0626. Social Workers completing this course will receive 6.5 contact hours.

This course, Triage Cancer Conference, Approval #212601-1210, provided by Triage Cancer is approved for continuing education by the New Jersey Social Work Continuing Education Approval Collaborative, which is administered by NASW-NJ. CE Approval Collaborative Approval Period: Tuesday, March 30, 2021 through August 31, 2022. New Jersey social workers will receive 6.5 General CE credits for participating in this course.
