In our fourth Safer Prescribing Series webinar we will discuss how to implement effective conversation strategies in the context of the management of patients with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

1. Diagnose a patient with Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).
2. Incorporate methods of harm reduction, safe prescribing and healthy equity into their patient interactions relating to opioids.
3. Implement effective conversation strategies in the context of the management of patients with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
4. Describe the indications for the initiation of Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) for patients with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
