Description:
Percutaneous mitral leaflet repair, also known as trans-catheter-to-edge repair (TEER), is now widely available in the UK. It can be used to treat patients suffering from symptomatic mitral regurgitation and who are not suitable for mitral surgery. NHS England has approved commissioning, as have all three devolved authorities. Mitral valve leaflet repair services across the NHS are now up and running.

This webinar will provide a current overview of percutaneous mitral leaflet repair. We will use a case-based approach to show the procedure in different patient groups and discuss who should be referred as well as how and where.

This webinar is for all clinicians who manage mitral regurgitation patients, including interventional cardiologists and general cardiologists. It also includes heart failure specialists and general and elderly care doctors. The Valve for Life initiative will host a panel of national experts to deliver the webinar. We welcome all who are interested in this field to attend the programme. It will be concise, practical, and interactive
