Dr. Daniel Blackman is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He has performed over 3500 coronary angioplasty procedures, and well over 5000 coronary angiograms. He has a national and international reputation in transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), having trained specialists throughout the UK, Europe, USA, and Japan in performing TAVI.
Dr. Blackman's outcomes from both PCI (coronary angioplasty) and TAVI can be found in the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society. Dr. Blackman is also experienced in all aspects of clinical cardiology including chest pain, coronary artery disease, palpitation, valvular heart disease, and heart failure. Dr. Blackman has a major interest in clinical research, having published over 80 scientific publications, and is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Leeds.
