Course Overview:
This MSK virtual conference is hosted in collaboration with the University of Hawaii and endorsed by the Asian Pacific Primary Liver Cancer Expert Association (APPLE).
This is a single topic conference focused on the Hepatocellular Carcinoma Tumor Immune Microenvironment and the use of checkpoint inhibitors in combination with other therapies including anti-angiogenics, tyrosine kinase inhibitors, other checkpoint inhibitors, and other local therapies. This conference is intended for medical oncologists, hepatologists, gastroenterologists, interventional radiologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, immunologists, and basic science experts.
MSK and the University of Hawaii are excited to host this conference virtually and welcome APPLE to the other side of the Pacific!
Course Objectives:
• Identify the elements of the tumor immune microenvironment
• Learn the outcome data of the different checkpoint inhibitors combination therapies for hepatocellular carcinoma
