Dr. Augusto Villanueva Rodriguez, MD, PhD, is a nationally recognized hepatologist and physician-scientist specializing in liver diseases and liver cancer. He serves as Professor of Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Academic Director and Medical Director of the Liver Cancer Program at NYU Langone’s Perlmutter Cancer Center, where he leads multidisciplinary efforts to advance the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
