Description:
AAAM’s Didactic Webinar Level 1 Certification Course is a 3 day, 3.5hrs/day introductory course in Aesthetic Medicine. The Webinar portion of the course covers skin conditioning and chemical peelings, Botulinum Toxin Type A and Dermal Fillers, and Lasers. Part 2 of the course will include 1.5 days of hands-on training. Hands-on dates are TBD.
Course Objectives:
• Evaluate and treat the aging face
• Review skin types and appropriate treatments
• Discuss relevant facial and other anatomy as it relates to aesthetic procedures
• Identify best practices for patient selection and evaluation, pre- and post-treatment consultation, informed
consent, and complications prevention and management
• Review products on the market, indications and contraindications for usage
• Discuss how aesthetic procedures are combined safely for maximum patient benefit.
