Description:
The objective of this First International Symposium is that the pediatrician can increase his knowledge about the importance of the first 1000 days in the life of the human being, starting from conception to two years of age. 

The pediatrician is in his daily work with children with developmental disorders, eating disorders, allergic diseases, obesity, among others. Undoubtedly different lifestyles, changes in dietary patterns, changes in food preparation, changes in family structures, changes in the acceptance of vaccination plans, etc. they have generated new scenarios.

They intend that in this Scientific Activity the pediatrician, find the prevention tools, applicable in his office for the management of healthy children, at this stage of life, in order to achieve normal neurological, motor, and nutritional development with an adequate diet in quality and quantity, and with complete vaccination coverage. =

In this new scenario, also the scientific advance of recent years, especially in genome studies, has opened up new knowledge of epigenetics and the importance of environmental factors in this stage of life. In this context, the importance of the intestinal microbiota and its impact on the health of the host is known.

Although the microbial communities hosted by the gut have co-evolved millions of years with humans, to achieve a symbiotic relationship with the host, the gut microbiota has become a new, fascinating and promising area of ??research, which allows us to understand the development of intestinal, immune, metabolic and neurological functions.

They consider this information to be of relevant importance in obstetric and pediatric practice.

Objectives:
• Provide tools to promote a future as healthy as possible from the beginning of life
• Discuss current knowledge and research perspectives on microbiota and its implications for future health
• Propose ways to accompany families in bonding and parenting to provide a positive environment that favors neurodevelopment and comprehensive mental health
