Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychopharmacology (Nov 21, 2025)

Continuing Education Credit:
Physician CMEs:
The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) has reviewed PSI’s Perinatal Psychopharmacology Advanced Course and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Term of approval is from 12/09/2024 to 12/08/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This session is approved for 6 hours AAFP Prescribed credits.

AMA/AAFP Equivalency: AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association (AMA) as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award.  When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1. These CMEs can be applied by Nurse Midwives and Advanced Practice Nurses.

Psychologists:
Postpartum Support International (PSI) is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Postpartum Support International (PSI) maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Completion of this course provides 6 hours of continuing education credits.

Counselors:
Postpartum Support International has been approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) as an Approved Continuing Education Provider. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Postpartum Support International is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. Up to 6 hours of credit available.

Occupational Therapists:
PSI is an approved provider of CEUs by American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by AOTA or indicate AOTA approval of a certification or other professional recognition.
