5th Annual Interdisciplinary Conference on Orthopedic Value-Based Care (OVBC) is organized by American College of Perioperative Medicine (ACPM) and will be held from Apr 09 - 11, 2021.

Duke University Health System Clinical Education and Professional Development as a jointly accredited activity with 9 credits for nurses, physicians, and pharmacists. Additionally, since we are committed to help expand the field of patient experience and provide information to the impact of patient experience in healthcare, we are happy to announce that we will be offering XXX Patient Experience Continuing Education Credits (PXEs). Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Description:
The overall goal of this transformative conference is to apply the triple aim principles to orthopedic patients undergoing surgery. We aim to achieve this goal by breaking the “silos” and bringing together and educating all the stakeholders that are involved in the journey of an orthopedic patient.

What: This unique conference includes clinical, operational and financial care redesign. The conference builds on the success of the 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 conferences, which sold out and included physicians, nurses, healthcare executives, patients and other providers such as physical therapists.

A significant part of the program will be devoted to the transition to ASC and outpatient based orthopedic surgery. Our speakers are rock stars from the top orthopedic organizations in the country such as HSS, Rothman, NYU, Columbia, UCSF, OrthoCarolina, and many more!

The 2021 program will have a US Guided Regional Anesthesia Workshop, 3 complimentary tracks to cover everyone in your team (clinical and non-clinical), and over 30 amazing international speakers!
