Description:
A 4-day interactive, case-based workshop covering high-resolution CT of interstitial lung disease and a practical, guideline-based approach to lung cancer screening and nodule assessment. Topics include ILD pattern recognition, fibrotic lung disease, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, small airway disease, infection, drug toxicity, sarcoidosis, occupational lung disease, and emerging CT technologies, with live Q&A after every lecture.

This 4-day intensive, case-based thoracic imaging course focuses on practical interpretation of high-resolution CT in diffuse lung disease and a structured approach to lung cancer screening and nodule assessment. Emphasis is placed on pattern recognition, concise differential diagnosis, treatment correlation, and current guideline-based reporting.Dr. Renner’s 170-page downloadable HRCT Workbook is included.

Tentative Workshop Highlights

  • Lung cancer screening: Lung-RADS, nodule risk stratification, and management updates
  • Interstitial lung disease: IPF, UIP, NSIP, and fibrotic ILD patterns
  • Hypersensitivity pneumonitis and small airway disease
  • Mosaic attenuation, air trapping, and ground-glass opacities
  • Occupational lung disease, including silicosis
  • HRCT of infection: NTM, COVID-19, and aspiration pneumonia
  • Drug-related lung disease and immune checkpoint inhibitor toxicity
  • Sarcoidosis: imaging updates and evolving therapies
  • Rheumatologic ILD and early detection
  • Pulmonary embolism: subtle and indirect CT signs
  • Photon-counting CT and emerging thoracic applications
