2023 Evidence-Based Practice Conference: From Bench to Bedside - Translating Evidence to Interprofessional Practice is organized by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and will be held on Feb 15, 2023.

Overview:
Evidence-based practice has been shown to reduce the time in which research takes to reach the bedside. This live virtual conference will include both podium and poster presentations designed to showcase actual examples of integrating evidence-based decision-making into daily clinical practice. Presentations will include a summary of the high-quality evidence used to make a recommendation for a change in practice, and how the change was implemented and measured. The content discussed will encompass oncology, ambulatory care, interprofessional collaboration, leadership and technology.

This conference is designed for healthcare professionals of all disciplines including nurses, advanced practice providers, physicians, pharmacists, dietitians, social work, physical therapists, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, or any other licensed clinical practitioner interested in learning more about evidence-based healthcare and how to integrate it into their practice.

• Identify methods used to gather high-quality evidence in order to make a practice change
• Recognize successful implementation strategies for change management
• Illustrate the importance of demonstrating the return on investment for evidence-based change
