OVERVIEW

The 13th Asian-Oceanian Congress of Neuroradiology (AOCNR) 2021 is organized by Asian Oceanian Society of Neuroradiology and Head & Neck Radiology (AOSNHNR), Korean Society of Neuroradiology (KSNR) and will be held from Apr 22 - 24, 2021.

Course Description:
As growing need for the foundation of a society in the Asian and Oceanian countries to promote neuroradiology and head and neck radiology, the Asian-Oceanian Society of Neuroradiology and Head & Neck Radiology founded in 1994 and now includes more than 30 national societies. AOSNHNR had contributed a lot to highlight the academism and the professionalism in the societies very successfully.

Since 1991, KSNR had been building strong connections toward many societies in the Asia-Oceania region and the world. 4th AOCNHNR was held on September 21–25, 2001, in Seoul, Korea, in conjunction with the meeting of World Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology (WFITN). We are very pleased to hold the AOCNR again in Korea. And organizing committee decided to make this congress as virtual because of the current COVID-19 situation.

Even if the Congress is to be held virtually, various programs will be prepared including plenary lectures, latest achievements, experiences and knowledges to share, and lively discussions on future of the neuroradiology and head & neck radiology. Building an international network will also be a key component of this congress to provide quality care beyond borders. AOCNR 2021 will serve all members of AOSNHNR and participants to solidify our friendship as well as professional collaborations.
